Press Release - Omix Partners with Graeme Hills Consultancy

We announced on our social media pages earlier this week that we have formed a partnership with Graeme Hills Consultancy to enhance our transformation services in the life sciences sector. Here is a history of how this relationship came to be and the goals of this new endeavour.

September 2020 - Liam met Benita and Stefan in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. At that time, Benita was a key contributor to running the laboratory operations at the University of Birmingham, setting up and validating the laboratory, before departing onto separate shift patterns with Liam to provide a 7-day service. Stefan and Benita continued to work together on the same shift pattern, developing their ideas further for the future. During this time Benita, Liam and respective teams published key articles on setting up academic laboratories and the delta variant.

The laboratory closed down as the UK pandemic response moved to the 'Living with COVID' phase, reducing demand for testing. Both Stefan, Benita and Liam went on separate paths in academia and government.

February 2023 - Liam secured a new role as an information technology consultant at Graeme Hills Consultancy and noticed that Benita and Stefan had set up a new venture in March 2023, Omix Limited.

Following an introductory meeting, alignment of values, ways of working and ethos, a partnership between Graeme Hills Consultancy and Omix Limited was signed to provide complimentary and synergistic services in the life sciences sector.
